Pandukeshwar Temple<\/p><\/div>
\nThis village holds very important\u00a0place in the legends of Mahabharata<\/strong> . It was\u00a0established\u00a0by King Pandu<\/strong> who had two wife , Kunti<\/strong> and Madri<\/strong> , while hunting King Pandu<\/strong> killed a male deer in mating , these deers were\u00a0actually a Rishi Kindama<\/strong>\u00a0 ( sage ) and his wife, the Rishi Kindama<\/strong> \u00a0before breathed last cursed Pandu<\/strong> that when ever he will\u00a0approach\u00a0a women with a\u00a0desire\u00a0to make love he will also die , King Pandu<\/strong> after reaching home narrated the story to his two wife and then denounced his kingdom, handed it over to his blind brother Dhrishtrastra<\/strong> , Pandu<\/strong> never wanted to die childless and expressed his\u00a0desire\u00a0to Kunti<\/strong> , she informed him about a boon which she had from Rishi Durwasa<\/strong> and used it to be mother of \u00a0Yudhistar by lord Dharma<\/strong> , Bhim by lord Vayu<\/strong> and Arjun by lord Vishnu<\/strong>, then she the taught Madri<\/strong> who had twins Nakul<\/strong> and Sehdev<\/strong> by lord Ashwin Kumars<\/strong> , thus the Pandvas<\/strong> were born here.
