Total population of Kagil 80%\u00a0follows\u00a0the Shia faith of \u00a0Islam and are inhabited in Kargil, Drass and lower Suru valley,\u00a0<strong>Tibetan Bon\u00a0Buddhist<\/strong> are mostly in <strong>Zanskar valley<\/strong> with small population in <strong>Shergol<\/strong>,<strong> Mulbek<\/strong> and<strong> Upper Suru<\/strong> valley.\u00a0\u00a0There are about 4% \u00a0Hindus and Sikhs . Most of the <strong>trekkers<\/strong> take a hike to\u00a0\u00a0the<strong> Nun- Kun<\/strong> view saddle (3810mtr. ) in the <strong>Parkachik ridge<\/strong>.
