\nThe exterior of the temple has double walls with intricate carvings of Apsaras<\/strong> in various sensual poses or other carvings depicting everyday life, like musicians, dancers, women preening in front of a mirror, etc. The main doorway is carved with four armed Vamans. The temple is a sandstone structure with mortise and tenon joints to hold the adjacent stones together.\u00a0\u00a0the \u00a0temple has a central chamber-the sanctum ( Garbha Griha)<\/strong>, an atrium, a Maha Mandapa<\/strong>, a central towering spire – Shikhara<\/strong> and a porch leading to the main temple entrance.
