Harsiddhi Mata or Harshad Mata temple<\/strong> is situated in a village Miyani<\/strong> about 3 km from the Dwarka – Porbandar- Somnath highway a<\/strong>bout 65 Km. from Dwarka<\/strong> , 30 km before\u00a0Porbandar<\/strong>\u00a0and \u00a0aprox . 170 Km. from Somnath<\/strong> on a hilltop overlooking the Arabian Sea<\/strong> .
\nOne is to climb 400 steps to reach the temple which was established by Lord Krishna for his Kul – Devi\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0at present no puja is performed here , the Puja is performed in a temple built at the foot hill in the market .<\/strong>

Harsiddhi Mata temple Dwarka-Somnath highway<\/p><\/div>
\nThe hill on which the temple is located is called Koylo Dungar<\/strong> , the legend is Lord Krishna prayed to Mata Amba Ji<\/strong> to give more powers to kill the Jarasandh<\/strong> and the other demons<\/strong> , after his success in war\u00a0Lord Krishna built this temple himself<\/strong> and celebrated the victory with his Yadav community<\/strong> , since then Yadav community worship Harsiddhi Mata<\/strong> as their Kul- Devi<\/strong>.

\nAround 1300 AD a Jain merchant Jagdu Shah<\/strong> visited the temple and prayed to the Harsiddhi \u00a0Mata<\/strong> to save his ships which were sinking when ever \u00a0they were crossing the sea near the temple, he constructed the new temple and requested the Mata to come down and stay at the foot of the hill , since then Harsiddhi Mata is Kul Devi<\/strong> for many Jain families \u00a0and puja is performed .

\nKing Vikramaditya of Ujjain<\/strong> also a devotee of Harsiddhi Mata<\/strong> \u00a0built one temple at Ujjain<\/strong>\u00a0, visited at this place and said that he will worship her every day and requested that the day time she will stay at Ujjain<\/strong> and at night in Miyani<\/strong>. A Sri yantra<\/strong> is carved in the temple.\u00a0Mata is also known as Vahanvati Mata ,\u00a0\u00a0She is also known as\u00a0Sindhoi<\/b>\u00a0Mata or Goddess of Sands .<\/strong>
