It was <strong>Hemu ( Hem Chandra Vikrmaditya ) attacked Adil Shah Suri from here .<\/strong><br \/>\nMughal rulers made it a prison for the political prisoners and carried \u00a0assassination of many Mughal \u00a0family members .<br \/>\n<strong>Jats from Gohad<\/strong> ruled \u00a0here <strong>from 1740 to 1783<\/strong> ,<strong> Maratha leader Maha Ji Shinde in 1844 AD<\/strong> finally got it from the <strong>British East India Company<\/strong> .<br \/>\n<div style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3853\/15168063105_0e18786eef.jpg?resize=500%2C333&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Blue Paint , Man Mandir , Gwalior Fort<\/p><\/div><br \/>\nThe main decoration and additions were done during the<strong> Raja Man Singh Tomar&#8217;s period 1486 AD-1516 AD<\/strong> ,<strong> Man Mandir<\/strong> and <strong>Gujri Mahal<\/strong> were added ,\u00a0the <strong>Jahangir Mahal<\/strong> and the <strong>Shah Jahan Mahal<\/strong> were also added to commemorate the visit of Mogul Kings, \u00a0wonderful architecture,and beautiful art work done on its front as well as some interior walls.\u00a0Surrounded by concrete walls of sandstone, the Gwalior Fort encloses <strong>three temples, 6 palaces and several water tanks<\/strong>.\u00a0The Fort also contains many other marvels of medieval architecture. The <strong>Gujari Mahal<\/strong> is one such structure whose outer covering has survived the many battles the Fort has encountered. <strong>The main attraction is the Blue Tiles used and rows of yellow ducks, Banana Trees , Tiger and Elephants\u00a0at outer walls and many other places , which is is actually a paint on the wall with different layers .\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<div Girl<\/strong> from a nearby village , she demanded a independent Palace and water for daily use \u00a0from <strong>Rai River<\/strong> near her village as a marriage condition .<br \/>\n<div
