Regular buses and taxis are available at rates approved by the J&amp;K Tourism Department, from <strong>Katra<\/strong>, <strong>Jammu<\/strong> and <strong>Udhampur<\/strong>. Pilgrims may also travel from Jammu\u00a0on <strong>Akhnoor-Bhambla\u00a0Road<\/strong>, <strong>Ransoo<\/strong> is 6 kms from <strong>Kanda More<\/strong> (turn)\u00a0on <strong>Reasi- Rajouri ago<\/strong> by the local\u00a0shepherds\u00a0is more than a kilometer long but pilgrims are allowed upto\u00a0150 meters, it has two chambers, outer chamber is little large and after crossing a narrow and low passage, one enters the inner chamber which is comparably smaller, the cave is illuminated and pilgrims take help of ropes to walk and even at places one has to crawl to move ahead in the chamber, there\u00a0\u00a0is four feet tall natural <strong>Syambhu Shiva Lingam<\/strong> which\u00a0bathes in a milky water dripping from the ceiling of the cave, \u00a0just above the Lingam is a\u00a0structure which gives impression of <strong>Kamdhenu Cow<\/strong>,\u00a0one can even recognize the structure near the Lingam <strong>Goddess Parvati<\/strong>, the other deities are <strong>Lord Ganesha<\/strong>, <strong>Lord Kartikeyen<\/strong>, <strong>Lord Hanuman<\/strong>, <strong>Lord Ram<\/strong>, <strong>Laxman<\/strong> and <strong>Sita<\/strong> even one can recognize <strong>Sheshnag<\/strong> here, in the center there is a hollow structure giving impression of <strong>Lord Shiva&#8217;s Jattas<\/strong>, all these are sourrounded by self made <strong>Shaligrams<\/strong> in the cave, pilgrims call it a <strong>Home of GODS<\/strong>, it is a miracle.<br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" <strong>Lord Shiva,\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0received the blessings that &#8220;<em>If he put his hand palm on any ones head, that person will die<\/em>&#8220;,\u00a0to test this <strong>Bhasmasur<\/strong> wanted to put his palm on Lord Shiva&#8217;s head,\u00a0and had a battle,\u00a0Lord Shiva to save himself \u00a0threw his <strong>Trident<\/strong> ( <strong>Trishul<\/strong>) which created this cave, along with <strong>Devi Parvati<\/strong> and <strong>Nandi Bull<\/strong> entered , leaving behind <strong>Bhasmasur<\/strong>, \u00a0<strong>Lord Vishnu<\/strong> who visualized the ill designs\u00a0came here, disguised as <strong>Apsra<\/strong>, lured\u00a0<strong>Bhasmasur<\/strong> to dance to her\u00a0steps, each step and move was so planed that finally <strong>Apsra<\/strong> (<strong>Lord Vishnu<\/strong>) made him to put his palm on his own head thus killing the Bhasmasur of his own powers, after this dance and killing, Lord Vishnu entered the cave along with other Devtas, it is said that <strong>330 million Devtas<\/strong> are in this cave lying as <strong>Shaligrams<\/strong> and <strong>Pindis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Around Shivkhori<\/h2>\n<p>Around <strong>Shivkhori<\/strong> one can visit the shrine,\u00a0<strong>Dera Baba Banda Bahadur<\/strong>, the army commander of <strong>Shri Guru Gobind Singh<\/strong> Ji about 20 kms from here on the banks of <strong>River Chenab<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>Nau Pindian<\/strong>, this is about 9 kms from <strong>Katra<\/strong> on same road to <strong>Reasi<\/strong>, there is a natural formation dedicated to the <strong>Nine incarnations<\/strong> (Avatars) of <strong>Maa Shakti<\/strong> in the form of <strong>Pindi<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>Dhansar Baba<\/strong>, this place is about 10 kms from Katra , 17 kms before Reasi , off the main road\u00a0trek for 1 km, it is\u00a0a natural formation of <strong>Shiva Lingam<\/strong> and natural dropping of water on the lingam.<br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" situated on the banks of <strong>River Chenab<\/strong> near <strong>Talwara<\/strong> about 6 kms from <strong>Reasi<\/strong>, famous for its\u00a0<strong>beautiful waterfall<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>Kalka mandir<\/strong> is just near the bus stand of Reasi.<br \/>\n<strong>Bhimgarh Fort<\/strong>, it is also known as <strong>Reasi Fort<\/strong>, originally constructed of clay but later it was reconstructed using stone, the main entry gate is having <strong>Rajasthani carvings<\/strong>, there is a statue of <strong>Goddess Maha Kali<\/strong> and <strong>Lord Hanuman Ji<\/strong>, there is a <strong>water pond<\/strong> and a <strong>temple<\/strong> in the fort and rooms.
